Perseverance 2 Fitness ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights over it.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Google account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this solely to create and identify your account. We do not access your Google password or any other Google services beyond what you explicitly authorise.
• Google Fit data — if you choose to connect Google Fit, we request read-only access to your daily step count and active minutes via the Google Fit API. This data is displayed on your dashboard and used to show your movement progress. We do not modify, delete, or share your Google Fit data. You can disconnect Google Fit at any time from the Activity tab in your dashboard.
• Health and lifestyle data — age, gender, current weight, goal weight, height, activity level, dietary preferences, sleep patterns, and fitness goals that you provide during the assessment.
• Progress data — weight logs, step counts, sleep records, and habit completions you track within the app.
• Payment data — transaction identifiers and payment status. We do not store your card or bank details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.
• Device and notification data — push notification tokens used to send protocol reminders you opt in to.
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, including pages visited and features used, to help us improve the Service.
• Feedback — any messages or feedback you voluntarily submit through the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate your personalised fitness and nutrition programme
• Process and verify your payment
• Send push notification reminders for your protocol (fasting, meals, movement)
• Track your progress and display it on your dashboard
• Respond to your feedback and support requests
• Improve and maintain the Service

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which employs industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted by Firebase Security Rules — only you and authorised administrators can access your records.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you request account deletion, we will remove your identifiable data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).

Inactive accounts: If your account has shown no activity for a continuous period of 90 days, we reserve the right to permanently delete your account data, including your profile, assessment responses, progress history, and any connected integrations. You will not receive a prior notice for inactive account deletion. If you wish to preserve your data, please log in at least once every 90 days.

7. Push Notifications

If you opt in to push notifications, we store your device's notification token in Firestore to send you protocol reminders (fasting windows, meal times, morning walk). You can revoke notification permission at any time from your device settings or from the Reminders tab in your dashboard.

8. Local Storage

The app stores certain preferences locally on your device (not on our servers) to improve your experience — such as whether you've installed the app, your programme data for offline access, and whether you've completed the intro video. Clearing your browser storage will remove this data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time
